DSF2®
The Most Accurate Address Verification Service Available
Verify your addresses are correct and complete using the most accurate, up-to-date address data available with our DSF2 processing service. With over 165 million records, the DSF2 database contains every USPS® deliverable address in the U.S. The database (which we use as a reference for processing) also contains vacant, residential, business or seasonal address information.
A significant feature of DSF2 – walk sequence codes, which allow you to deliver mail pieces in the exact order the mail carrier travels – qualifying you for USPS Enhanced Carrier Route (ECR), Basic, High Density, or Saturation postal discounts.
Our DSF2 processing service also distinguishes between residential and business addresses, and identifies if mail delivered to an address will go to a curb-side mailbox or door slot – critical information you can use to obtain the best parcel shipping rates.
DSF2 identifies whether a ZIP + 4® coded address is currently represented in the USPS delivery file as a known address record. DSF2 processing is one of the approved methods outlined in the Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) for sequencing mail pieces in walk-sequence when not using a simplified address.
Use DSF2 to identify:
• Deliverable and undeliverable postal addresses
• Business vs residential addresses
• Commercial mail receiving agencies (CMRA)
• Seasonal addresses
• Addresses vacant for more than 90 days
• Address delivery types such as curb, door slot, box, etc.
DSF2 processing includes:
• Delivery Point Validation (DPV)
• Postal coding and delivery/walk sequence numbers
• CASS Certification
• Address standardization
• Mailability scores to help you filter your list
