Use the Do-Not-Mail list to identify opt-out individuals

Avoid mailing to uninterested recipients by suppressing the records of individuals who have registered with the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) to opt-out from receiving advertising mail.

The DMA Do-Not-Mail list is updated monthly and distributed four times a year – January, April, July and October. Names remain on file for five years. The match percentage will vary on the accuracy and age of the data in your list.

Melissa Data recommends running NCOA^Link®/DSF^2®, or some combination of address verification before using Do-Not-Mail suppression on your list.

The minimum order per file is $70.00. There are no electronic transfer fees. The standard turnaround is 24 hours or next business day. RUSH ORDERS (same-day turnaround guaranteed) are available for files of less than one million records. For RUSH ORDERS there is an additional $100.00 fee. All RUSH ORDERS must be received before 12:00 pm PST.
