Create Your Own MatchCodes
With MatchUp Object you can set up your own matching rules (called Matchcodes) in any combination of over 35 components from common ones like Zip Code, Address, and Last Name – to no-so-common elements like Email Address, Company, Social Security Number. You can even specify your own proprietary data component, such as an account number, using the MatchCode editor or programmatically.

MatchUp Object at Work

MatchUp Object gives you three different ways to implement your deduplication process:

1. Read/Write Deduping
Read/Write deduping is the most common way to compare records in one or more databases at once and to process entire lists. Each unique group will have 1 records which receives an “output” status, the other matching records receive a “duplicates” status.

2. Incremental Deduping
Incremental deduping is used to compare new records as they are input into the database at point of entry.

3. Hybrid Deduping
Hybrid deduping allows advanced programmers to customize how input records are processed and stored, and to take advantage of specific knowledge of the input data to increase speed and accuracy.

• MatchUp Object is offered as both a programmer’s toolkit (API) and a desktop application with a graphical user interface. The API version costs $4,995 and the desktop version costs either $3,495 with the CASS processing option or $2,995 without CASS.

• MatchUp Object is a multiplatform developer’s tool available for Windows 2000/XP/NT 2003/Vista. Linux Red Had 8.0 (gcc 3.3), and Solaris 8,9,10, SPARC platform.
