Melissa Data now offers multiplatform capabilities to Canadian Address Object

Data quality software and services provider Melissa Data now offers multiplatform capabilities to its Canadian Address Object, a complementary product to the company’s Data Quality Suite.

The Data Quality Tools Suite, which includes Address Object, Phone Object and Name Object, enables efficient direct marketing by verifying and correcting address, phone and contact data, according to Rancho Santa Margarita, CA-based Melissa Data.

The Canadian Address Object is certified with the Canada Post Software Evaluation and Recognition Program requirements. Along with the CASS certification for U.S. addresses, customers can validate, correct and standardize U.S. and Canadian addresses at the same time in Windows, Linux, Solaris, HPUX and AIX environments.

Mailers can use Canadian Address Object as an API in their custom batch and point-of-entry applications, or use the address verification Web service to instantly validate data entered into Web forms.

While aimed at small- to mid-sized companies, businesses of all sizes can reap the benefits and savings earned by preventing lost and/or misdirected mailings using the new Canadian Address Object tool, the company said.
